(The Star Online) -- A software update announced Tuesday will allow Pebble users ‘round the clock activity and sleep tracking as it introduces health and fitness apps from Misfit, Jawbone and Swim.com to its ecosystem.Pebble products such as the Steel are particularly well suited to 24-hour tracking due to their multi-day battery life, and the Misfit app for Pebble has also been updated to enable this capability.
They are also highly water-resistant, making them compatible with the swim tracking app by Swim.com, which measures distance, time, pace, strokes and efficiency in the water.
Finally, a US$50 (RM162) price slash will appeal to Pebble fans everywhere who haven't yet purchased the Steel smartwatch, which is now available for US$199 (RM648), and the standard Pebble Watch is now available for US$99 (RM322).
