Peterson didn't issue an official comment on the matter, but he did tweet Tuesday how "it's SAD" that people believe what the media says.
Fair point, I guess. People do buy into things they hear in the media and run with them to the maximum extent.
But it's not like Peterson outright denied what happened, you know? He might be better off just not tweeting for a while.
A previous report pegged Peterson as being "in denial" when it comes to his future with the Vikings.
